Lessons are available from 1 September 2026 onwards, with flexible timeslots arranged at your convenience.

Please Note

• Tools are not included. A recommended wagashi tool set is available for separate purchase.
• Wagashi is a handcrafted art. Photos are for illustration purposes only and final designs, colours and details may vary slightly.
• Due to the handmade nature of the craft, each student's finished pieces will have their own unique character.

WAGASHI LESSON

Terms & Conditions

Please read the following before confirming your booking. Payment of the lesson fee constitutes acceptance of these terms.

BOOKING & PAYMENT
• Your lesson is confirmed only upon full payment.
• Lesson fees are non-refundable once payment has been made.

RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION
• One rescheduling is permitted with at least 7 days' notice, subject to availability.
• Requests made less than 7 days before the lesson may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
• Same-day cancellation or no-show will be treated as a completed lesson and the lesson fee will be forfeited.
• Late arrival will not extend the scheduled lesson time.

LESSON & FINISHED PRODUCTS
• Wagashi is a handmade craft. Finished pieces may vary slightly from the instructor's samples.
• Designs and flavours may be adjusted depending on seasonal ingredients, availability and the student's skill level.
• Lesson materials and recipes are provided for personal learning only and may not be reproduced or used for commercial teaching without prior permission.

ALLERGIES & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
• Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary requirements before booking.
• Ingredients may include or come into contact with common allergens such as nuts, dairy, soy and gluten.
• While reasonable precautions are taken, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.

PHOTOGRAPHY
• You are welcome to take photographs of your own work during the lesson.
• Mema Atelier may take photographs or videos during the lesson for marketing and social media purposes. Please let us know before the lesson if you prefer not to be photographed.

CLASS ETIQUETTE
• Students are expected to follow hygiene and food-safety instructions throughout the lesson.
• Please treat the studio, equipment and other participants with care and respect.

IMPORTANT
Mema Atelier reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the lesson arrangements, designs or schedule when necessary.
